150 tourists from the Chinese city of Kunming, landed Sunday, January 26, 2020 morning at the Minangkabau International Airport in West Sumatra, after flying directly from Kunming.
Anticipating fears of tourists contracting the corona virus, the local government through the Padang Class II Health Office, conducted a body temperature scan using the Thermo Scanner.
From the results of the inspection certainly no tourists with high body temperature or contracted the corona virus. Their body temperature is still below 38 degrees Celsius.
The travel agency that facilitates the departure of a group of tourists from China said, the arrival of tourists has been prepared since November 2019.
Even though the corona virus is spreading in China, especially in the city of Wuhan, the travel agency has also confirmed that before departure to Indonesia, 150 tourists have also been tested at Kunming Airport.
Scheduled, this group of tourists will be for five days in West Sumatra to visit a number of attractions.

Translate: A group of tourists from Kunming, today arrived at the Minangkabau International Airport, with a total of 150 people. The group will be divided into five tour buses. 4 buses will go to Pariaman and continue to Bukittinggi. While one bus will go directly to the city of Padang. They will be in West Sumatra for 5 days, from January 26-30.

2. Jalil Alfani: Head of Class II Port Health Office in Padang
In situations like this, when the corona virus disease spreads, we still do something that we have done. It's just tightened by the addition of tools and power as seen earlier. Especially for this coming from China, we involved many people. But as we saw earlier, we don't get what we are worried about (finding tourists who have contracted corona). So my message to all, we must calm down and don't panic. Indeed there is a disease (corona), but we do not expect to enter Indonesia especially West Sumatra.
