It takes a village to raise a child, they say, and for #HanumanLangurs, it takes a troop to raise an infant. It is quite common for females other than the infant's mother to pick up and cuddle or groom an infant, sharing the caring - behaviour known as #allomothering or, you could say, being a monkey's auntie. Young males will also take and play with infants, which I suppose would make them a #MonkeysUncle...
