Auto rickshaw negligently speeds on wrong side of flyover, collides head-on with mini-truck in western India
In a freak accident, an auto-rickshaw driver sped down the wrong side of the road before colliding with a mini-truck in western India’s Gujarat. (July 1)
The incident took place at Digjam Flyover in Jamnagar.
The video shot over the flyover shows the auto-rickshaw driver recklessly speeding down the wrong side of the busy road, before meeting colliding head-on with a mini-truck coming down the right way.
The rickshaw driver can be seen lying unconscious after slamming into the windshield in the collision.
A large crowd gathered in the spot to rescue the auto-rickshaw driver.
He was admitted to the nearby hospital.
Although no severe damage was visible on the mini-truck from the collision, the auto-rickshaw seemed to be hard hit.
