Thai coffin shop decorates caskets as pink home
A coffin store in Ang Thong, central Thailand is selling caskets painted so they resemble a house to reduce the stress of grieving families after they lost their loved ones.
Footage shows the coffins at the store painted beautifully in pink with windows, doors and roofs.
The store owner Pornthip Phaobthong, 45, said the idea came from the belief that the coffin is the last home for the dead which they will take to their next life.
She said: "Some believe that the deceased could be spending their afterlife in their last house, which is the coffin.
"So we provide special service for those believers that wanted their love to have a good afterlife in a beautiful house."
