Drone footage from Manekpur, India shows the coastline heavily damaged by heavy rains on Monday (July 6).

Following a heavy downpour, numerous instances of devastation along the coastline have been reported in western India’s Gujarat.

According to reports, the state has received 22 per cent of its average rainfall during the season, which has been recorded to be 183mm (7 inches) up until the morning of July 6.

From the drone shots in Manekpur Village, a cow can be seen crossing the causeway fearlessly, as it floods, much like most people around the village.

Raval dam, situated in Una district, was also reported to be at 95 percent of its entire capacity, which led to the opening of four of its six floodgates, which further flooded the Raval River.

A highway connecting Somnath and Kodiwar in Gir Somnath district has been shut down following a mishap wherein a stranded pickup truck was pulled out of a flash flood with the help of a tractor.
