Firefighters rescued a 6-year-old boy hanging from a fourth-floor window as his head got trapped in the security bars.

The video, filmed in the city of Rizhao in Shandong Province on September 5, shows a group of firemen using a toothless saw to try to cut the bars inside the flat while a firefighter leaning out of the third-floor window held the boy from the bottom.

In another clip, another firefighter was sent to approach the boy on a lift platform to rescue him.

The boy was brought back to safety after 10 minutes and he was not injured seriously.

2020年9月5日13时57分，山东省日照市莒县消防救援大队接到报警称，位于莒县城阳街道一居民小区一男童头卡防盗窗、身悬五楼外，莒县大队立即调派城阳路消防站赶赴现场进行救援。
14时05分消防员到场，经侦查发现，一名6岁男童头部卡在防盗窗上，身体悬在五楼半空，男孩父亲利用床单对儿童进行简单防护，但男孩坠落的险情还是随时可能发生，现场情况危急。
根据现场情况，指挥员组织指战员兵分三路，一组指战员到五楼替换儿童父亲做好男童防护，并利用无齿锯对五楼窗子进行切割破拆；第二组指战员到四楼外窗，对被困男童进行托举防护；最后一组指战员利用登高平台慢慢靠近五楼外窗进行救援。
经过10多分钟的紧急救援，被困男童最终被安全救下，所幸身体并无大碍。据了解，男孩今年6岁，事发时男孩独自在家。消防部门提醒，幼儿对外界充满好奇，安全事故时有发生，家长要时时注意防护。（视频由山东台提供）
