Thai protesters sing songs and wave phone lights outside parliament
Thailand protests continued on Thursday (September 24) with a rally outside the Parliament House in Bangkok.
Hundreds of anti-government demonstrators and activists gathered outside the seat of government from early afternoon until nightfall. Footage shows the group singing songs and waving their mobile phone lights in the air.
The demonstration came on the same day that King Maha Vajiralongkorn arrived in Thailand from Europe for a brief visit to mark Prince Mahidol Day.
Security forces had prepared water cannon trucks to quell any violence or unrest during the protest, which remained peaceful.
