Monitor lizard rescued from a footwear shop in Southern India
A monitor lizard escaped from the nearby forest in Cuddalore district of Tamilnadu. After crossing a busy road it enters into a shop in order to escape from the honking vehicles. The owner of the shop saw the Monitor lizard entering into his shop and he got scared even though its non-venomous. He immediately called an animal activist to rescue the monitor lizard.
Animal activist rushed to the spot and searched for the monitor lizard inside the footwear shop. Then at last he found the lizard and it was brought outside the shop and later it was left in the nearby deep woods.
