Protests in Indonesia against the controversial Omnibus Law turned to violent clashes between demonstrators and police on October 13.

Crowds outside the fence of the national monument, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, in central Jakarta, threw stones and bottles at the police

The police responded with tear gas shots at the demonstrators, as well as using a shield wall to hold back the crowds.

The demonstration against the Omnibuslaw Bill ended in clashes between demonstrators and police, who were outside the fence of the national monument, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday afternoon, October 13 2020, demonstrators threw stones and bottles at the police
then the police responded with tear gas shots at the demonstrators, the plan was that the demonstration against the Job Creation Bill would last for 6 days.
