A motorcycle rider pulled his little brother behind on a wooden sheet through a flooded road.

The three, including the pillion passenger, were playing with their makeshift wakeboard after heavy rain in Phetchaburi, Thailand.

Motorists were worried that the rope could snap and hurt the little boy, or worse, ran over by the speeding cars.

However, the youngsters continued with their game even after almost being hit by an oncoming car behind when they suddenly stopped.

One of the motorists who saw the three boys said they held up the traffic behind them.

He said: "They looked like they live nearby and they are used to the road being their playground. I hope their parents know about this."

The three boys eventually left the road and made a turn before disappearing into a village by the roadside.

The country has been hit with heavy rain over the last few weeks causing severe floods in several regions.
