An amusement park in Tokyo has been turned into new office space for remote workers as part of a unique project during the pandemic.

Yomiuriland launched the plan named "Amusement Workation" allowing workers to work remotely at their park. Poolside WiFi is available as well as a portable WiFi router on the Ferris wheel.

Masato Bito, a guest staying at the park said: "I enjoyed the Ferris wheel. While riding it I attended an e-meeting and did a livestream."

To stay at the park it costs 1,900 yen (£13.87) on weekdays and 2,000 yen (£14.60) on weekends and holidays.

Cameraman Kei Oumawatari said: "I was tired working from home recently and wanted to work from somewhere else so this is a great idea during this COVID-19 crisis.

"I had a meeting with my client and showed him the view from the top of the Ferris wheel. It was fun.

"After work, I tried the roller coaster called Bandid and I really enjoyed it."

This footage was filmed on October 20.
