A wild monkey walked in a bank in east New Delhi and climbed onto a person's back on January 18.

Footage shows the animal standing on the shoulders of a man as the rest of the bank employees watch in awe.

Eyewitnesses say the monkey took the staff member as a ''hostage'' for a while before running out of the bank, even humping his neck at one point.

This monkey entered inside axis bank in Nirman VIhar opposite V3S mall in east Delhi.
It made one employee as hostage and climbed on his top. The other bank employees and customer sees the man helpless as monkey has kidnapped it. It also does some funny body movement and people laugh on seeing that.
The monkey sits on the shoulder of the employee and then runs away.
