On Sunday 1st November 2020, the Government Flying Services helicopter could be seen carrying out a rescue operation on Kowloon Peak, in Hong Kong. Kowloon Peak is one of the highest mountains of Hong Kong culminating at 602 m, and the location of a scenic spot called "Suicide Cliff". Because of the popularity of this scenic spot with gorgeous views over the Kowloon Peninsula, Kowloon Peak has often been the scene of hiking accidents, sometimes deadly, but despite the risk, many hikers attempt the climb, particularly on days where the weather is fresher as when the video was shot.

On average, the Government Flying Services can be seen at least two to three times per year performing rescues on Kowloon Peak.
