The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched the 51st mission of Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from a space station in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on November 7.

The satellites were launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota.

A video witnessing the event features the initial countdown of the launch. After the countdown, the satellites rocket towards the sky. The satellites appear to be balls of fire in the sky.

The carrier vehicle PSLV C49 will deliver 10 satellites in all with EOS-01 as the primary one.

The EOS-01, an earth observation satellite, is intended to provide agriculture, forestry and disaster management support.

This was ISRO's first space mission of the year and included nine customer satellites from Lithuania, Luxembourg and United States.
