A Leopard induced fear and panic in a household when it entered their house, forcing them to flee in panic.

The incident took place in Dudhawa village, Kanker district, Chattisgarh, central India, on March 4

The visuals depict a frightened leopard running under the trap set by the forest department to catch it. However, the leopard managed to escape and flee from the scene. The tense moment shows the leopard's swift movement as it evades capture, further escalating the fear among the villagers.

Range Officer Bhag Singh Suryavanshi reported that around 5 a.m., a mother leopard and her cub entered a neighbourhood. The pair were separated when a pack of dogs began barking at them. While the mother vanished, the baby leopard took refuge in a teacher’s house, causing panic among the residents, who fled in fear. The forest department was alerted, and a trap was set up. However, the baby leopard managed to escape, running toward a nearby hill. Since the house was just 100 metres from the forest, the department successfully guided the cub back into the wild.
