Minutes of tension were experienced this Tuesday afternoon (November 10) in a dance studio in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano, when in the midst of a confusing situation, a man entered a class, took a knife, and attacked two women, before police can stop him by firing a shot that grazed his right buttock.

The aggressor was identified as Sebastián Damián Villarreal, 30, a native of the Buenos Aires town of Berisso, who is a student of the institution.

He was detained at the disposal of the Misconduct and Misdemeanor Prosecutor's Office No. 5, under the charge of prosecutor Miguel Kessler, with the accusation of repeated serious injuries aggravated by the fact that the victims were women in the context of gender violence.

According to police sources reported, Villareal went up to the first floor of the building where the class was taking place and attacked one of the teachers, named Julieta Antón. Upon seeing this, one of the owners of the study, Sofía Bovino, came out to defend the victim but was also injured.

Minutes later, two policemen from the Neighborhood Commissioner 14 B who were in the area were alerted by pedestrians who heard the cries for help that came from inside the school.

The policemen entered the dance studio. Upon seeing them, Villarreal tried to attack the women again, for which one of the agents called out and fired the shot with his regulation weapon.

Ayelén, Julieta's friend, told that Villarreal had harassed the teacher for a long time. “They weren't a couple, they never were. He had an obsession with her, he always wrote to her, he made her very nervous, "said the friend.

Immediately, ambulances arrived to attend to the victims, both with cutting injuries. Dr. Alberto Crescenti said that the women "had lost a lot of blood", but fortunately "they are out of danger."
