This was the scene in San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia when a group of "anti-vaxxers" donned Ku Klux Klan robes at an anti-government demonstration on November 8.

Footage shows three demonstrators in the infamous robes of the white supremacist group while carrying a large syringe adorned with the word "toxic."

The Human Rights Secretariat of Río Negro, in Argentine Patagonia, condemned the expressions of hatred that were observed in the march against the national government.

The trio's actions were said to be in response to Argentina's acquisition of vaccines for COVID-19.

The province's secretary for Human Rights Duillo Minieri stated: "In the context of a democratic society and the current rule of law, public demonstrations of racist, xenophobic and intolerant speeches are inadmissible."

"By virtue of the foregoing, although the defence of the right to demonstration and public protest is inalienable, we must be reflective and extremely careful with the use of images, speeches and symbols that refer to the saddest, most violent and repudiate pages of the history of mankind," said Minieri.

The Human Rights Secretariat of Río Negro, in Argentine Patagonia, condemned the expressions of hatred that were observed in the march against the national government last Sunday in San Carlos de Bariloche, where protesters marched disguised as members of the racist organization Ku Klux Klan.

According to local media in Bariloche, in southern Argentina, a group of people came to an anti-government rally held at the Civic Center of the city dressed as the violent white supremacist group from the United States.

In their hands, they carried a giant syringe with the legend "toxic", in rejection of the acquisition of vaccines against the coronavirus that the National Government announced at the end of December.

The video shows a group of people with the white suit and cone, typical of the racist organization, walking with the syringe, while listening to "the Russian vaccine, here it is."

In Bariloche, the march included a caravan of cars from the local Terminal to the center, with honks and posters protesting against the national government.

This fact generated a strong rejection in social networks and a massive repudiation of the institutions that defend democracy and diversity.

The province's secretary for Human Rights, Duillo Minieri, stated that "in the context of democratic society and the current rule of law, public demonstrations of racist, xenophobic and intolerant speeches are inadmissible."

The Ku Kux Klan (KKK) is an American far-right organization, formed after 1860, that promoted - and still does so in isolation - white supremacy and resorted to violence and terrorism to persecute its victims: people of black race, homosexuals and Jews, among others.
