This is the astonishing moment a skilful motorcycle rider carried a scooter strapped to the back of his own bike.

James Waller De Ramos travelled with the 300-pound bike on a 70 miles (114 km) journey from Quezon to Batangas province, the Philippines on December 2.

The rider carried the bike to help his friend, Efren, reach home after joining a motorcycle event in a neighbouring province.

His friend had an engine issue while they rode together on the highway and they didn't want him to ride the bike as it may malfunction and cause an accident.

They tried to find a nearby mechanic shop so they can wait together to fix it, but without success.

There was also no inns nearby so the helpful rider offered to give the bike a lift while Efren rode pillion on their other friend Mark Genil who recorded the video of the scene.

Mark said: "No matter how much trouble there is on the road, we will fix it together until we all get home.

"I am glad one of our friends is skilful and knows what he's doing. None of us were worried about him handling the ride."
