This is the heartwarming moment a kitten was rescued after it was trapped in the front bumper of a car in Thailand.

The car owner was about to drive out when he heard a cat crying from inside his car in Ramkhamhaeng road, Bangkok.
He inspected the white Nissan vehicle and checked inside but he did not find where the crying moggie was.

However, when he looked under the car, he saw the black and white stray struggling to free itself on the narrow space between the front wheel and the mudguard.

He immediately called the animal rescuers who helped calm the adult cat first before pulling it out of the wheel.

Suchart from the rescue team fixed the cat into proper position so it would be easier to pull it out without hurting it.

The volunteer had difficulty taking it out at first as the cat was a fully-grown adult, but he eventually freed it after almost half an hour.
He said: "The poor cat may have been looking for a warm space to sleep in the night, but it was stuck in the morning."

The cat was checked for injuries but it was unhurt. It was adopted by the car owner's neighbour later that day.
