A seventy-year-old Islamic tea shop in the Thai capital Bangkok still serve drinks to customers the traditional way.

The tea shop is hidden away at an alley in the middle of a community built next to a canal in Bang Sai Kai district.

It is run by a Muslim family originally from Laos, passing their recipes to their children who still serve the same drinks throughout the years.

Footage shows the shop owner preparing a milk tea using stainless steel pots heated over a coal stove.

First, the shop owner prepares the milk in the glass and proceeds to pour hot water into the filter to steep the dried leaves.

Everything is done by hand and the shop does not use electronic appliances to create any of their drinks.

The shop is still decorated with original furniture and the old wood exterior has been preserved to this day.

Workers can be seen stopping by at the shop with their motorcycles to have breakfast or lunch as it is located next to a narrow pathway leading to the main roads.
