Elusive black panther spotted amid woods in central India
A rare black panther was spotted amid woods in central India’s Madhya Pradesh on January 13. The incident took place in the Teliya zone of the Pench Tiger Reserve, located in Seoni district.
Visuals witnessing the incident feature a black panther stationed in the middle of the woods. The fierce cat feeds on the carcass of an animal while maintaining a steady gaze.
The panther continues to munch on the bones of the dead animal while occasionally looking away to check its surroundings.
A black panther is a rare variation and is typically the melanistic colour version of the regularly noticed leopards.
