Baby bear gets entangled within tree branch, rescued in central India

Wildlife was having the best time while strolling amid the woods until it got stuck in an awful situation in central India's Madhya Pradesh on December 8. The incident took place in Multai in Betul district.

Visuals feature the rescuers using a flaming torch to scare the mother bear away from the spot to save her little one hanging from the branch of the tree in broad daylight, leading to a bizarre scene as it poses a threat to its life. After successfully scaring the mammal away for a while, the officials begin with the rescue operation.

Upon receiving information from the forest guard, the forest ranger, along with 26 forest officials and seven rescuers from the Satpura Tiger Reserve, reached the spot on December 7 while the rescue operation went on till the next day. Moreover, the rescue operation was carried out under the guidance of Gurudutt Sharma of Satpura Tiger Reserve's rescue team, Deputy Divisional Officer of Multai GL Jaunwar, and Forest Range Officer of Multai Ashok Rahangdale. Furthermore, the bear was released on December 9 into its natural habitat.
