Malaysian firefighters used a deadly cobra during a recent team-building session.

Firefighter Noramey, who has 15 years of snake-handling experience, led the session in Negeri Sembilan province.

The exercise saw the firefighters standing in a circle with their arms around each others' shoulders before a 10ft-long cobra was released onto their bodies.

The drill demands that they all trust each other and remain calm to avoid getting bitten by the reptile which is sensitive to sudden movements.

"I have learned a lot from this activity. Snakes are sensitive with motion and could attack you if you always move," said firefighter Tengku Zaim

"They can recognize killing instincts of other beings towards them. So if you encounter a snake, just relax and stay still. Let it pass by," he added.
