A bizarre museum in Thailand has its own zoo – that houses dozens of ALBINO animals.

Rare white animals such as alligators, tigers, monkeys and horses are housed in the unique centre.

The animal zoo is a special attraction inside the Chokchai Museum in Bangkok. The museum was created by wealthy businessman Chokchai Bulakul who wanted to show off his collection of items from around the world.

Chokchai, who also has a farm, ‘loves animals, so he established a special type of zoo’, according to his website.

Visitors can watch the animals inside huge enclosures and even get the chance to feed them.

A white alligator has its own pond while two white monkeys live together with normally-coloured ones inside a cage.

The museum has several other sections aside from the albino zoo such as vintage car and military museum, and a horse-riding field.

Albinism is the result of cells that can’t produce melanin, the pigment needed to color skin, scales, eyes and hair.

It is a genetic condition that is passed to offspring when both parents carry the gene. When albinism is present, the animal can appear white or pink.
