Authorities carried out snow clearing operations after a snowfall in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on April 2. The incident took place at the Mughal Road, which connects the Shopian district to Rajouri and Poonch districts.

Visuals witnessing the incident features the authorities carrying out maintenance work to clear the roads after heavy snowfall. The paths and the entire region are encased with dense layers of sleet. A locomotive is seen blowing out the snow covering the path from an engine as it moves ahead.

The Pir Panjal range received fresh snowfall, following which the local authorities carried out snow clearing operations at the Mughal Road. The Mughal road is seen as an alternative to the Srinagar-Jammu national highway and will re-open soon after the maintenance work is finished.
