A serpent expert, together with his son, rescued a non-venomous Indian rat snake from a police quarter in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 28. The incident took place in Sagar.

A video features a snake slithering on the branch of a tree to prey on birds in broad daylight, following which panic ensues among the onlookers in the region. After a while, the serpent expert and his son reach the spot to commence the rescue operation. His son then quickly locates the snake on an electric pole and grabs its tail to restrain its movement. After a few moments of struggle, he manages to entangle the reptile from the pole while the others behold the occurrence.

For two days, a five-feet long Indian rat snake was bothering the birds nesting on a tree near Maharani Lakshmi Bai (MLB) School in the police quarter. Following this, the serpent expert, identified as Akeel Baba, was contacted, and he reached the spot with his son, identified as Arshad or Junior Baba. Arshad then managed to gain control of the situation by himself and rescued the snake entangled on an electric pole by mounting it.
