Orphaned albino elephant, Khanyisa, heads out on an adventure with her carers and companion sheep, Lammie
Khanyisa is an orphaned albino elephant rescued in January 2020 from a poacher’s snare. She came to Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development (HERD) and went through three months of rehabilitation for the horrific wounds caused by the snare.
Khanyisa has made many friends along the way, including her amazing carers Khensani and Herman, as well as her companion sheep, Lammie.
