Elephant and calf hold up traffic to pluck sugarcane from truck's roof
An elephant and its calf held up traffic in southern India to pluck sugarcane from a truck's roof.
The elephants are seen standing in the middle of a road in Erode, Tamil Nadu, as they use their trunks to pull the sugarcane off the truck's roof.
There is a 40 km/h speed limit on the Sathyamangalam highway as it is common for elephants to wander onto the road.
This footage was filmed on September 5.
