In a massive accident, two buses collided heads on in western India's Maharashtra on September 10. The tragedy unfolded near a rice mill at Konkani Pada in Vikramgad taluka (administrative area).

Visuals feature the buses in a dilapidated state. The windows and entrances have been crushed to be debris and lie in the middle of nowhere.

One bus was on the Dahanu-Thane route, while the on the Wada-Jawahar route when they collided during the early hours of the day. Although no casualties were reported in the accident, 50 passengers on both buses sustained minor as well as some serious injuries.

Meanwhile, the locals helped rush the injured to the hospital at Wada Vikramgad for treatment.
