Falling crane crushes car trapping driver inside in China
This is the shocking moment a crane fell on a passing car in China, wrecking the vehicle and trapping its driver inside.
Surveillance footage shows how the base of the tower crane buckled before completely collapsing at a construction site on Qianjin Road, Kunshan City in Jiangsu province on September 14 morning. The crane fell from a height of about 20 meters and smashed the front part of the black SUV.
Kunshan Traffic Police said the trapped driver was rescued after 30 minutes and sent to a hospital to receive medical treatment. The cause of the accident is now under investigation.
