A careless moped rider got a crash course in the importance of leaving plenty of space between you and the next vehicle.

In this incident on 9 November in Qianzhen District of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, a moped rider left it far too late to stop and collided hard with another moped, knocking it and its rider over.

The rider that caused the smash appeared not to be paying attention and had perhaps also underestimated how much more stopping distance you need when you are carrying a passenger.

Luckily, none of the riders were injured, but the victim's moped's rear lights were damaged.

While driving down this busy road in Qianzhen District, as seen here, the moped rider wasn’t paying attention to the road ahead. As a result this led to the moped rider crashing into the rider in front and almost making the rider spin out, but they managed to get their moped rider under control so they didn’t crash. Luckily, none of the riders were injured, but the moped's rear lights were damaged.
