Motorists rescued three people trapped in a car after a crash on a highway in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province on January 17 shows an out-of-control car smashing into the wall on the side of Wenzhou-Raocheng Expressway and, turning around and tipping over.

A motorist driving past the area came out of his vehicle and ran to rescue the trapped people. One person climbed out of the black car and asked help from the motorist.

Three more vehicles were seen stopping on the side of the highway and the motorists joined the rescue work.

Three trapped people were all rescued and only one suffered minor injuries.

According to the black car driver named Li, the tyre of his car slipped on the road as it was raining, causing the car to lose control.
