Wild monkey rocks lamppost near road in Singapore
This is the moment a troublesome wild monkey rocked a lamppost near a road in Singapore.
Footage taken in Upper Bukit Timah road on July 19 shows the animal perched on top of the post and using its weight to swing back and forth. The monkey is believed to have come from a nearby forested area in the district.
Bukit Timah houses a nature reserve which was recognised as an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2011. Tourists can go on 'monkey walks' to witness the reserve's rich fauna, including the long-tailed macaques commonly seen in the area.
