Wild monkeys dive into hotel swimming pool to cool off in front of tourists
Wild monkeys cooled off in a hotel swimming pool - splash diving in front of astonished tourists.
Footage shows the cheeky primates climbing up the roof before plunging into the water below in Krabi province, Thailand on April 20.
The troop entered from the property's back garden and were believed to have been inhabitants of the nearby Railay Beach.
Holidaymaker Chinns Obrien said they had to wait for the macaques to clear the area so they could swim.
She said: ‘I'm not mad about it though. We try to share with the wildlife as much as we can. This is their home, after all.'
The monkeys left the hotel after having fun in the pool without damaging anything.
Thailand has a growing population of wild monkeys. Troops can be found across the country but they are becoming increasingly fearless as they venture into homes and buildings.
Officials have even began sterilising them to try to control their numbers.
