A passenger and flight attendants helped a pregnant woman give birth on a plane in southern China.

Video filmed on Hainan Airlines Flight HU7303 on February 14 shows several flight attendants and a passenger who is a nurse helping a pregnant woman give birth on the plane.

According to reports, a pregnant woman's water broke after the plane had just taken off for a short time.

The flight attendants then let the mother-to-be lay on a row of seats and tried to find doctors or paramedics for help.

The only nurse on the plane whose name is Liu Yuan then helped the pregnant woman give birth with several attendants.

After around half an hour, the baby came out successfully.

The plane flew back and landed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport and the emergency medical staff immediately boarded the plane to check the woman and used an ambulance to transfer her to the airport emergency centre for continuous monitoring.

2月14日晚，从三亚飞往成都的一架航班上，一名女乘客突然羊水破裂即将分娩。乘务组紧急处理，用毛毯搭起“临时产房”。在全体机组人员和一名护士旅客的全力配合下，女乘客顺利生产。
当天晚上21:10，海南航空HU7303航班准点从三亚起飞，起飞后不久，一名女乘客从洗手间出来后，神色有些慌张，乘务员黄瑞婷发现后立即上前问询，得知该乘客即将生产。
乘务长王潇得知情况后安排旅客平躺在后舱连排座位上，客舱经理高璐通过广播寻找医生进行协助：“各位旅客，现在飞机上有位旅客即将分娩，如果哪位旅客是医生或护理人员，请马上与乘务员联系，谢谢！”
“大概起飞四五十分钟，飞机里就开始广播找在医院工作的人员，我就去看了一下，发现女孩要生孩子了。”四川省人民医院肝胆外科护士刘媛说。
“她32周早产，当时宫口已经开了，能摸得到胎头，情况很紧急。”刘媛是航班上唯一一名护士，当时飞机上有毛毯、橡胶手套、急救箱及应急医疗箱等工具，随后，海南航空HU7303航班的机组人员就用这些简单的物资搭起了“临时产房”，并立刻返航回三亚。
据刘媛回忆，当时这名孕妇是一位二胎妈妈，两年前第一胎是顺产，所以根据她的经验判断，二胎的产妇顺产会快一些，而且孕妈妈自己也有经验，“我怕她羊水流干，就赶紧让她平躺，查看发现当时五指都开了，孩子马上就要出生。”
大概过了30分钟，孩子顺利出生，刘媛赶紧帮新生儿擦拭身体，拍拍屁股，听到孩子哭了以后，整个航班内响起了乘客们的掌声，“现在回想起来很后怕出现大出血的情况，好在接生很顺利，整个接生过程不超过30分钟，母子平安，我非常感谢自己所学的医学知识。”

2月14日晚22时23分，海南航空HU7303返航落地三亚凤凰国际机场，急救中心医护人员迅速登机查看孕妇分娩情况，并由急救车顺利转运至机场急救中心持续监护。（视频由海南台提供）
