Dramatic moment plane ABORTS landing at Bristol Airport due to powerful Storm Eunice winds
Storm Eunice smashed into the UK today (February 18) bringing winds of 122 mph in places. The Met Office issued a red warning for the UK and the Bristol Airport lay right in the storm's path, with gusts up to 70 mph recorded.
This EasyJet Airbus A319 aircraft arriving from Edinburgh felt the full force of the storm. Check out this nail-biting landing as the plane rocks side to side, touches down on one wheel, then the other, before the pilots decide to abort the landing and perform a 'go around.'
The aircraft was vectored back around for a second attempt in which it landed safely.
