Empty strollers placed in Lviv square to mark 109 children killed by Russian attacks

Empty strollers have been placed in central Lviv to commemorate the 109 children killed in Ukraine by Russian attacks.

In exclusive footage from March 18 supplied to Newsflare, the strollers are seen lined up in Rynok Square.

An emotional mother named Tatyana who fled from Mykolaiv with her child, said: "I can't say anything, only tears. We came from Mykolaiv to take care of our child. I can't look at it, I can only cry."

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, as a result of Russian aggression, 109 children have been killed and 130 injured.

Another woman, Youlia, from Kyiv was brought to tears by the display: "you understand that for nine months you are carrying a child in yourself, you raised and looked after the child, and you understand that he can die, the mother’s heart dies.

"Our people and our children are killed just like that, just like that. It's horrible.

"We live very near Borispol airport in Kyiv and there were a lot of explosions. we left on the night of February 24."
