Pair of labourers rescued from soil cave-in in south India
Two labourers trapped beneath a soil cave-in were rescued after a one hour struggle in south India.
The incident took place on March 25th in Nallipayalam in Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu. Reportedly two daily wage labourers were digging soil for laying foundation for a construction site, when the soil around the pit collapsed and they became trapped.
Passers-by noticed this and immediately they informed the fire and rescue team.
Rescue workers rushed to the spot and after one hour both the labourers were pulled free alive. They were immediately sent to the hospital for further treatment.
