Steel pipes narrowly missed a car after falling off a transport truck in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province on March 31 shows more than 10 steel pipes suddenly falling off a truck as the steel wire rope used to tie them up broke when the vehicle stopped at traffic lights.

Since the traffic light turned green, the cars on the left side of the truck drove away one by one and the last car narrowly avoided being hit by the steel pipes.

Luckily, no one was injured. Police officers arrived on site as soon as possible to deal with the incident.

3月31日晚上9点30分左右，浙江宁波，在海曙区机场路与石碶大道路口，发生了惊险的一幕：一辆装有十余根大型钢管的半挂车来到路口时正好遇到红灯。车辆在停下来的那一刻，钢管因惯性发生位移，并且扯断了捆扎货物的钢丝绳。随后，这些大型钢管从车身两侧滑落下来……最长一根超12米，重约2吨。
“当时左转车道上有多辆小车在排队等候。绿灯亮起，它们依次起步，最后一辆驶离时，钢管就滚落下来。就间隔了那么几秒时间，真是万幸啊，否则后果不堪设想。”海曙交警相关负责人说，左侧车道的车辆幸运逃过一劫，右侧车道又没有等候的车辆。所以这起事故并未造成人员伤亡，虚惊一场！
公安交警部门在接到报警后，第一时间赶到现场组织施救。待施救结束，已是4月1日凌晨。海曙交警也借此提醒广大货车驾驶员，出车前一定要将所载货物捆扎牢固；行驶时，请控制车速，遇到红灯务必提前减速，平稳刹车，切务急行急刹。（视频由浙江台提供）
