Chinese man frees common kingfisher that got beak stuck in billboard
A kind-hearted man freed a common kingfisher that got its beak stuck in a billboard in central China.
Video filmed in the city of Shangqiu in Henan Province on May 15 shows a common kingfisher with its beak stuck in a billboard and a man gently pulling the bird free and releasing it.
The man, named Xu, happened to see the bird on a billboard when he went to throw out some rubbish.
Since the billboard was made of foam, Xu thought the kingfisher might have accidentally hit it during a flight and so got trapped.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
