A sweet elderly couple finally posed for wedding photos after being married for 65 years.

Wong Aou-Arun, 86, and his wife Klin, 85, tied the knot in 1957 but the senior lovebirds didn't have the chance to take photographs of their wedding in Suphanburi province, central Thailand.

They have been happily married ever since but their grandson Ittipol, 37, felt bad that his relatives did not have pictures to remember the happy memories.

Ittipol organised a wedding photoshoot for the elederly couple in fields near their home - and even hired a suit and white wedding dress for the couple.

Footage shows the adorable pair finally posing for pictures as they recreated their wedding day all those years ago.

Ittipol said: ‘I have been working as a wedding photographer but I felt bad that my own grandparents didn't even have their own pictures.

‘I gave them a surprise photoshoot with the help of friends. It was a really nice experience and they loved every moment.'

The photographer of 19 years added that his grandparents have been together since they were only 21 and 20 years old, so the two have been very close, as apparent in the photoshoot video.

He said: ‘I asked them about their love life and I realised only then how long 65 years is. They have been through a lot over those years so now they are very close.'

The couple's sweet wedding pictures have been printed and displayed inside their home.
