Exclusive footage from Friday (June 24) shows the moment a Russian airstrike devastated a gas station in Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine.

Several CCTV cameras at the AMIC Energy petrol station on Khersons'ke Highway captured the moment of impact.

The first camera angle is from inside the station and shows an employee serving a customer as the missile explodes nearby.

As the airstrike lands, the glass windows are blown in and the station employee who was injured in the incident scrambles for cover. The camera is shunted around by the sheer force of the blast.

The next clip is of the same encounter but captured by a camera on the outside. The missile can be seen landing on a patch of greenery nearby the station.

The final angle shows customers taking cover behind their vehicles as the missile strikes.

The Kyiv Independent tweeted: "Russian attacks on Mykolaiv Oblast wound 17 people in past 24 hours."

In the Bashtansky district, shelling of the territory and adjacent settlements of the Bereznehuvatsky community continues.

As a result of yesterday's night shelling in the village of Bereznehuvate, four residential houses and outbuildings were damaged. Information about the victims is being clarified.

The OVA also reported that on the night of June 23, Russian troops fired on the Shirokiv community. The occupiers destroyed the warehouses of agricultural enterprises. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

Besides, yesterday, on June 23, about 20:00 as a result of attacks of the village of Novomykolayivka of the Pervomaisky community one person was lost, four civilians were wounded. The occupiers destroyed one house and damaged other houses.

The shelling was also recorded on the territory of the Parutyn Starostinsky District of the Kutsurub Community. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

"On the morning of June 24, the village of Gorokhivka in the Resurrection community was shelled. A fire was recorded. Information on the consequences is being clarified. In Voznesensky and Pervomaisky districts, day and night passed relatively calmly, ”OVA informs.

According to the chairman of the Nikolaev regional council Anna Zamazeeva, in total for the last days in the Nikolaev area 17 people were wounded. There are no children among the victims.

«Again it got to Nikolaev and communities of the Bashtansky and Nikolaev areas. In particular, the Shirokivska, Bereznehuvatska, Kutsurubska, Voskresenska and Pervomaiska communities came under fire, ”the statement reads.

Zamazeeva added that the shelling damaged residential buildings, social facilities and production infrastructure. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded.
