A Charity Rockall Expedition is planned for early 2023. The isolated rock sits 200 miles of the West coast of Scotland. The plan is to camp on the tiny rock to raise One million pounds fro Childrens Hospice South West and Royal Navy and Marines charities. As a training exercise an earlier visit and short camp on Goose island Cornwall was undertaken. Confusingly the event had been misinterpreted by many locals as an example of "Wild camping" though a rather extreme venue for such antics. On this return visit a specially designed survival pod built by Landpod a British company and major sponsor of the enterprise was dismantled and along with an amount of equipment recovered to a boat owned by local fisherman Phil Trebilcock. The gear had been left behind on the first expedition when bad weather signalled an evacuation. This is a return visit left Goose rock in it's original pristine wild condition.
