Stranded people rescued from middle of river in eastern India

A total of 15 people, who were stranded in the middle of a river, were rescued by fire service officials in eastern India's Odisha.

The incident happened in Andhuti village in the Balipatna area in Khordha district on August 16.

Visuals showed the fire service officials rescue the people, bringing them to safety on a lifeboat. The boat smoothly was directed towards the shore from where the 15 rescued people got down. Among the 15, there was also a small child.
