Mimika Police with Military Police of the Army held a reconstruction of the alleged premeditated murder by mutilating four Papuan civilians in Mimika Regency, Papua on Saturday (3/9/2022). This premeditated murder case took place on August 22, 2022.

Reconstruction presented nine suspects, namely three civilians and six members of the TNI AD. They demonstrated the 50 scenes at six crime scene locations (TKP) in Mimika Regency, Papua.

The reconstruction was carried out from morning to night. In the reconstruction, which was closely guarded by dozens of police and soldiers, the suspects carried out their roles in accordance with the contents of the investigation report. Where in the reconstruction, the suspects perform their respective roles.

The roles of the suspects started from the suspects plotting the murder, meeting the victims, seriously killing the victims, mutilating the victims, throwing the bodies of four murder victims into the river, burning the car used by the victims before they were brutally murdered, to distribution of money. robbery of the victims.

The process of reconstructing the murder case by mutilation in Mimika Papua is under tight guard from the Police and Military Police personnel of the Army.

Mimika Police Chief, AKBP I Gede Putra said the reconstruction process went smoothly, which was carried out from morning to night.

"We have just completed the reconstruction of the case of premeditated murder and mutilation, which started from morning to night today," said I Gede Putra.

In carrying out the reconstruction of the case, the National Police Commission, the National Human Rights Commission, the local Prosecutor's Office were also present, as a form of collaboration so that the disclosure of this case ran smoothly and transparently.

"Then at this activity, also present from the National Police Commission and the National Human Rights Commission of the Republic of Indonesia, the Timika District Attorney, the city collaborates, we fulfill or try to fulfill the expectations of the whole community for how we solve this case quickly. and transparently,” said I Gede Putra.

Then in today's reconstruction activity, there were 50 scenes that were demonstrated by the suspects at 6 different crime scenes in Timika.
"For how this case we reveal quickly and transparently. That is, there are 50 scenes with six crime scenes," he said, Saturday (3/9/2022) night.

He also explained that the police discovered new facts after the reconstruction of the murder case by mutilation in Mimika Papua.

"With the implementation of this reconstruction, from us investigators, there are indeed new facts that were discovered during the reconstruction process, these facts were found when the suspects played out their respective roles and during the initial examination the suspects did not mention this and we will follow up by carrying out additional examinations of the suspects," said I Gede Putra.

"From this reconstruction, we can clearly reveal the roles of the suspects, starting from the planning stage, where the location is, then the implementation stage, up to the disposal of the victim's body, burning the car at the last location to their role in distributing the proceeds of crime," he said.


As previously reported, the perpetrators of the mutilated murder in Mimika Papua involved 12 people, including eight soldiers from the Indonesian Army. This was revealed during a police investigation.

Of the 12 perpetrators, six TNI AD soldiers have been named suspects, the other two soldiers are still under investigation by the TNI AD Military Police. As for the perpetrators from civilians, there were 4 perpetrators, one of whom was still at large, namely Roy Marthen Huwae. From the information from the local police, it was known that Roy Marthen Huwae was one of the masterminds of the murder that took place last Monday [22/8/2022].

The bodies of the four victims have been found, although the condition of the victims is no longer intact due to being mutilated by the perpetrators.

The four residents who became victims of the murder, namely the Fourth Arnold Lokbere, Irian Nirigi, Lemanion Nirigi, and Atis Tini.

The murder occurred on Monday (22/8/2022) at 21.50 WIT in the SP 1 area, New Mimika District. The victim after being killed and then mutilated. The bodies of the victims were dumped around the river in Kampung Pigapu, Iwaka District.


The case was revealed on Friday (26/8/2022) when the body of Arnold Lokbere ll was found. Then the next day, Saturday (27/8/2022) and Monday (29/8/2022) and Thursday (1/9/2022) the last body was found.

According to the local police, the motive for this case is robbery. However, to be sure, investigators are still conducting investigations.

The perpetrators of the murder consisted of four civilians, namely Andre Pujianto Lee alias Jeck, Dul Umam, Rafles, the three have been detained at the Mimika Police Precinct and Roy Marthen Huwae, who is still at large. They have all been named as suspects.

The remaining eight perpetrators were recorded as members of the Indonesian Army who served in the 20th Infantry Brigade for the Riders of the 3rd Division of Kostrad, namely Infantry Major Helmanto Fransiskus Dakhi, Captain Inf Dominggu Kainama, Praka Pargo Rumbow, Private Rahmat Amin Sese alias Rahmat, Private Robertus Putra Clinsman, and Pratu Riszky Oktaf Muliawan. Meanwhile, the other two soldiers who are still being investigated for being involved in enjoying the money from the robbery have not been identified.

The suspect was charged using Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code and or Article 365 of the Criminal Code. The threat of death penalty, life imprisonment, or a maximum of 20 years.
