A motorist stopped their car in the middle of a road to avoid being late whilst dropping her daughter off at school in southern China.

Dashcam video filmed in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province on September 13 shows a black car driving across a road and suddenly stopping in front of Lin's car when he was waiting for the traffic lights to change.

Lin horned at the black car's motorist, but the woman closed the car window and came out of the vehicle.

Lin shouted to the woman: "Why do you stop there? I want to go."

However, the woman replied: "Here is enough space for you."

She then left with her daughter.

The woman was reportedly in a hurry to take her daughter to school and she was afraid of being late.

Police fined the woman and she also made a video apologising.

9月13日，湖南长沙，林先生驾车在上班途中，遇到不可思议一幕。他停车在等红灯时，一位女司机突然驾驶车辆“横插一脚”，径直把车横在路中间，挡住了林先生的车辆。林先生向女子解释，这里不能停车。女子却回应，让林先生绕行，随后关窗、熄火、下车，带孩子离开。林先生很无奈，遇上这种事儿也是头一次，绿灯亮起后，只好绕过女子的车辆离开。
