A pair of bulldogs weighing in at almost 5 stone love being tucked into their own single beds which are even decked out in "Paw Patrol" duvets.

Sian Harding’s pet pooch Gwen, 3, and her 1-year-old daughter Gladys had been sleeping in open crates at home in Swansea until Gwen had puppies.

Since then the crates have been used for the new babies, meaning Gwen – who weighs 26kg - and 29kg Gladys have been upgraded to their very own toddler beds.

Adorable footage, which has been viewed almost 3 million times, shows the pair of them with their heads resting on pillows while tucked up under duvets, with Gladys even having a "Paw Patrol" one.

Sian said: “They love being tucked in, any kind of fuss they love it. They stay in their room all night although they do swap for some reason.

“Gladys gets too warm though and kicks off her duvet.

“If we're all watching TV on our bed, Gwen will sit by my husband Mark and make funny noises at him so he will ask her to show him what she wants.

“He will follow her and she will either want the toilet or go into her bed.

“Otherwise, when we want to go to sleep we will say ‘right bed’ and they will go in themselves but we will follow in to tuck them in.

“Previously they both had open-top crates, but Gwen’s new babies had to use them.

“Gwen and Gladys just had their mattresses on the floor, but they were so well behaved.

“We thought, instead of having to renew the beds every few weeks, we would get one toddler bed between them as they love to snuggle but it just wasn't big enough.

“We got the second bed and they absolutely love them.”
