This is the miracle moment a baby girl is rescued alive after a four-storey building collapsed on top of her.

The footage shows the baby, covered in dust but alive, being pulled out of the debris by a rescuer and handed to a colleague before she is whisked off to an ambulance.

Search efforts in the Jordanian capital Amman have ended, with 14 people being declared dead after the building collapsed on September 13.

The four-month-old girl was reportedly pulled alive from the rubble some 30 hours after the collapse.

The Jordan Civil Defence released the footage along with a statement saying that they show 'the moment the baby Malak was pulled out of the rubble… Moments that will not be forgotten in our memory, and the image of the four-month-old Malak will remain an icon of hope and life'.

The collapse happened in Jabal al-Weibdeh, which is one of Amman's oldest neighbourhoods, with search efforts stopping on Saturday after a final body was pulled from the rubble.

Amer al-Sartawi, a public security spokesperson, said: 'Rescue teams were able to extract one dead person on Saturday, the death toll now stands at 14.'

The massive rescue operation had spurred into action after the collapse, with the retrieval of this final body, that of an unnamed woman, ending the searches, as officials said that the missing had all been accounted for.

Jordan's public prosecutor has reportedly ordered the arrest of three people, who have not been named but who reportedly include the building manager and two people involved in renovation work on the building, which is located in the historic Jabal al-Weibdeh neighbourhood, popular with expats and tourists, and with many buildings dating back to the 1940s.
