Little boy, 10, performs amazing fire dance routine
A little boy performed an amazing fire dance routine at a local talent show.
Clyde Basbas, 10, had been practicing the extreme choreography since he was three-years-old after being watching his father at work in Laguna province.
The outgoing youngster signed up for a contest to show off his skills when their village held a contest for their annual feast.
Footage shows the boy wearing a black suit and twirling a burning baton around his arms on August 19.
Proud dad Barry said: ‘My kid is on fire with these talent shows. He always wins. My son is serious with his practice and really likes what he's doing.'
Speaking with local media, Clyde said he first saw his father fire dancing during his birthday.
He said: ‘I still remember my father having fun while fire dancing for my birthday when we visited him at work. I knew I wanted to be like him.'
Father Barry said the boy asked to be taught and were only playing at first when the youngster showed talents.
He said: ‘At first I thought he was only curious but then he showed off his talents and wanted to practice almost every after school.'
However, Barry said the boy's priority remained to be school and the hobby only comes second.
He said: ‘We encourage him with his hobbies but we wanted him to finish school first before we let him decide what he wants.'
