Baby avoids injury after swallowing and spitting out thumb tack
A 9-month-old baby luckily avoided being hurt after spitting out a thumb tack that he accidentally swallowed in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province on October 11 shows a mother patting her baby's back continuously as she thought the baby was going to throw up.
However, the baby later spat a thumb tack out onto the bed.
According to the baby's mother, the thumb tack was from a quilt holder.
After being checked in hospital, doctors confirmed that the baby had no injuries and was in a stable condition.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
